David Messer joined Briskin, Cross & Sanford, LLC, in September, 2007. David's practice focuses on a full spectrum of business law, with an emphasis on all phases of business dispute resolution, including trials, appeals, mediation, and arbitration. David practiced as a business trial lawyer in Oklahoma for six years prior to joining Briskin, Cross & Sanford, LLC.
David is licensed by the State of Georgia and by the State of Oklahoma. David is admitted to practice before the trial courts of Georgia and before all the Courts of the State of Oklahoma, where he has successfully represented clients before the Supreme Court of Oklahoma. David is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Georgia and the Northern and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma, as well as before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver. Prior to receiving his J.D. with highest honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2000, David earned a B.S. from Free Will Baptist Bible College and a M.C.M. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
In addition to his work in business litigation and negotiation, David has experience in oil and gas litigation, in homeowners' association disputes, and substantial experience in various election disputes. David has also successfully represented clients in a number of appeals. David also has a rich base of experience public speaking and writing.
David is an avid musician. David and his wife live in Alpharetta.
