David M. Messer is a Partner at Briskin, Cross & Sanford, LLC, bringing more than two decades of litigation and trial experience to the firm. Since joining the firm in 2007, David has built a reputation as a dynamic courtroom advocate and trusted advisor for companies, business owners, and executives across Georgia and Oklahoma.

David represents clients in a broad range of business and commercial disputes, with extensive experience in trials, appeals, mediation, and arbitration. Before relocating to Georgia, David practiced law in Oklahoma for six years, achieving both legally and socially significant courtroom victories and appellate results. In addition to his private practice, he served as Deputy General Counsel for Zynergy, Inc., where he advised on corporate and regulatory matters.

David is admitted to practice in Georgia and Oklahoma, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia; the Northern and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma; and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver.

A graduate of the University of Tulsa College of Law (J.D., highest honors, 2000), David also holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music. Since 2008, he has served as an Adjunct Professor at Reinhardt University, where he teaches business law and ethics. He is a frequent lecturer and advisor to churches and nonprofit organizations, combining his legal and leadership experience to support community initiatives.

Outside of his legal practice, David is an accomplished musician who enjoys playing piano and saxophone. He and his wife, Terri, reside in Johns Creek, Georgia.
