Biography

Darshan Patel is an associate attorney at Briskin, Cross & Sanford. He is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts in Georgia. His practice focuses on litigation and general business law.

Prior to joining BCS, Darshan worked at large nationally recognized AM LAW 100 and 200 law firms where he represented established businesses and individuals in a variety of disputes pertaining to catastrophic trucking accidents, negligent security and premises liability, medical malpractice and long-term care negligence, products liability, and commercial contracts.

Through the course of his career, Darshan gained significant experience in the courtroom as well as the proverbial negotiation table. He has achieved favorable results for his clients through trial advocacy, skilled motions practice, and settlements.

By litigating cases across a diverse array of practice areas, Darshan developed a unique ability to hone in on the relevant legal issues and points of leverage on his cases to resolve his clients' most complex problems creatively and cost-effectively. Darshan makes sure that he understands what his clients consider “wins” so that he can formulate the best possible strategies to help achieve them.

Darshan obtained his undergraduate degree from Georgia State University, and his law degree from Emory University School of Law. He now lives in Alpharetta, Georgia with his wife and daughter. During his free time, Darshan enjoys the metro-Atlanta culinary and comedy scenes.
